1. Can I include my 2008 1040-ES Voucher #1 with my
2007 1040 tax return & payment? Or must I mail
it separately?

2. I have the 2008 1040-ES vouchers from TurboTax
printed but I am going to pay a different amount.
Can I just cross out the printed amount and write
the amount I am paying? Or should I just print out
the PDF from the IRS website?

Don't even THINK about doing this. IRS processors get confused very
easily, so don't tempt fate.

Besides, notice the different mailing addresses.

Yes, just cross out the amount and carefully print your "contribution"
to national debt in lieu thereof.

You can. But why would you want to do that?

You can include your house payment with yoru tax return - if you want.

Send each separate payment to the IRS and/or state in separate envelopes.
They just love to get mail, and when they open it up (actually done by
machine) and yank out the one item, they don't bother looking any more -
because who sends in more than one payment in each envelope.

> Or must I mail it separately?

It's not like they'll come *get you* for mailing them in together. But you
run a huge risk that it'll not get processed as smoothly as you'd probably
do it if you were the over worked, under paid, on your third job, IRS
processing employee opening mail.

Use whiteout.....or get that colored whiteout....maybe pink out.

Yeah, now that'd be funny.

In any case, consider moving to EFTPS to pay by the internet.
