No 1040ES or 1040V delivered this year.

Is this a mistake or is there some new way to
pay online that I'm supposed to know about?

No mistake, they're just a tad slower this year. After
all, they (IRS) have a lot on their plate this year, what with
getting all those letters out about the upcoming "rebate".

It's not even close to April 15th, so plenty of time in the next
31 days. Don't worry.

Actually - you ain't gonna get 'em. Per the NATP March 13 newsletter ...

Estimated Tax Payment Vouchers

Here's another opportunity for you to "stay in front of your clients"
throughout the year. The IRS has discontinued mailing paper Form 1040-ES,
Estimated Tax for Individuals, vouchers and envelopes to your 1040-ES
clients who file electronically. 1040-ES filers who file a paper return will
receive only one mailing instead of quarterly mailings. Take the place of
the IRS here and remind your clients to make their payments every quarter.
While you're at it, market yourself and ask if there is anything you can do
for them. More information is in the Form 1040-ES instructions available on
the IRS website.

AndyS made a valid point on this subject in a very recent
post - no one stated what we probably considered to be the
obvious. No need to wait for delivery of 1040ES and 1040V.
They can be downloaded here:

A valid addition to his point is that for many elderly retirees who have
routinely paid estimated taxes for years, carefree access to the
Internet is not yet a reality.

Self-prep software and paid professionals can provide 1040-ES pre-filled
forms, although some charge for it.

Now, if only you could download the pre-addressed envelopes too!
