I've been directed here from the TurboTax forums for
authoritative State taxation expertise. Haven't found the
answer yet so thank you for your time with this particular
wrinkle...
I'm a California pixel pusher that did about $2700 worth of
contract web & PDF work online for a Pennsylvanian
Institution. All work was done in California and all files
were delivered over the web via FTP or email. I received a
1099-MISC from the PA folks (like all the other 1099s I
collected from my California contract work). I have never
set foot in PA, although I hear it's nice. Must I file a PA
State Tax return in addition to my CA State return? Hoping
for easy answers/less paperwork.
