All of the fees mentioned above except the State Tax get
capitalized as part of the basis of the home. You can
include the other taxes on the state tax line of Sch A.

This is wrong. The transfer taxes are basis, not a Schedule
A deduction. See IRS Pub 530.

You can deduct items reported on the settlement statement on
lines 106, 107, 801 and 802. The interest reported on line
901 will probably also be on Form 1098--it is deductible,
but not deductible from both the settlement statement and
the Form 1098.
