As our esteemed Moderator has tactfully pointed out, ANY person who is
the qualified DEPENDENT of another is NOT eligible for a Stimulus
Payment. This is true for any of the scenarios you bring up related to
age (under or over 17), income, or filing your own return. The point
is clear: You are a DEPENDENT and, by definition, you are NOT
ELIGIBLE. If you don't like that, take it up with your congressperson.
See the FAQs on the IRS website for more information .
