Here is the deal-

A coproration (regular, not an S) has vehicles at a cost of
90k and accum depr of 75k. They are considering selling for
125K.

Now the little kicker- there is an AR- stockholder of 30k.
We have a state excise tax of 6.5%.

What do you think is best- selling stock or assets?

Any opinions are appreciated.

Sorry, one other piece of information-

Stock cost is $1000.

Retained earinings is 29K+, about the same as the
AR-stockholder.
