My Mother passed away in 2006 , and on the deed to her home had my name
and my sisters name- (no other children). My niece , now lives in my
Mother's home and is paying us $300.00 a month. Since I no longer
work, would my sister have to file this rent money on her income taxes or
, would we both have to file? I"am on ss-disability and my sister is
still working. Can or will I have to file this money?

Can you be on SS-Disability and still have rental property?

Thanks For Your Help,

EJP907

MAY THIS DAY BRING MANY BLESSINGS TO YOU

Each of you reports half the income and half the expenses. See IRS
Publication 527.
