I have a C corp registered in California...not making any
money.

How do I get an extension and what are the forms that I need
to send in for this ? for IRS and franchise tax board ?

The information is included in the 1120 instructions. I'm
sure CA has a similar document.

To get a filing extension with the IRS for your federal tax
return, you will need to file IRS Form 7004, availalble at:
http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f7004.pdf.

Sorry, I don't know anything about getting an extension for
filing any California returns.
