As others have also suggested - it should work.
You must be leaving something out.
TC has exported to Qkn and Qkn imported from TC "forever".
I've used them both since TC '96 with Qkn99 thru TC2007 and Qkn2006.
Again, exactly what are you doing and exactly what is happening?
What version of both are you using?
