I purchased a house in 2006 and paid $6,000 in pionts. I am
subject to AMT in 2006 and need to know if I can include
this $6,000 in the "interest paid on eligible mortgage" for
my AMT calculations (Line 4, Form 6251)? Or do I only
include the amounts from Box 1 from my mortgage interest
statements?
