There are 8 circumstances that will flip a direct deposit ESP to a paper
check. Some of them are explained in the ESP FAQs on irs.gov. Your
situation is one of the circumstances that probably isn't addressed.
Due to the fact that you filed an amended return and received a second
refund via paper check after the original direct deposit refund was issued,
your ESP will go out by paper check. Your rebate should be mailed one week
following the direct deposit date listed for your SSN on irs.gov.
