You can call the 800 number listed on the webpage (I think
1-800-555-8778). If you have your enrollment number from the time you
signed up, your PIN number, then the call is quick as you just key in
your info and don't have to wait or talk to anyone.

I'm guessing that the new password is for enhanced security. It's
possible that in the past the IRS stored your password in plaintext,
but now they store a hash (which means that your password can never be
recovered, but then again nor can it be stolen). Or maybe they now
restrict the characters you can put into the field, though Ithis does
not increase security. Still, EFTPS is convenient.
