I filed April 10'th but have still not received my stimulus check. It
has been well over 6 weeks, hence my concern. I did direct deposit,
but I did received two IRS notices requesting additional taxes for
some small miscalculations on some forms. I paid those over a month
ago. Could that be the holdup?

Did you file a paper return? It was probably not processed until
after April 15. If so, that places you in a lower priority queue,
after those whose returns were processed by April 15.
Once the rebate has been scheduled you can check the status
here:

YOu hit the nail on the head for sure.
Now you look to the schedule for the last two digits of your social
security number and this will tell you when they will mail the check.

Undoubtedly is a factor.
e-filed here but owed taxes rather than refund caused issuance of paper
check as opposed to electronic transfer...it arrived last week.
So, w/ a miscalculation on form, it'll undoubtedly be until after that's
all resolved/processed before yours hits the "release" queue...
