I moved in 2006 from VA to MD.
I assume legal residence starts when you actually started
living in your new state.
I actually started living in MD in September 2006, but
entered February in error when I e filed my MD form
This resulted in an income tax bill from the State of MD.
What is the proper way to correct the tax forms I filed for
VA and MD?
Should I pay the tax bill of $496 I received for the State
of MD when due on 4/15?
Thanks for your help
Vic
