We have someone visiting on a 1-year sabbatical leave, and
we are paying for her family to travel. It looks like it
probabaly qualifies as moving expenses, since it's more than
50 miles and for more than 39 weeks. That would make the
family travel deductable, as I understand it. If so, does
that mean that the university can treat it as a qualified
expense for their accountable plan? It seems like this
question should come up all the time, but I can't find a
clear answer.
