My name is Scott Thompson, I recently joined this group and
would like to introduce myself. I'd like to begin with
apologizing for the spam-like aroma of this post.

I am a real estate investor and website developer.
My website is http://www.trexglobal.com.

My company develops tax software for small real estate
investors, and I am interested in finding different ways to
provide users with tax-saving strategies. My primary focus
is empowering small investors by creating simple applications
that solve specific pain points. I have developed tools that
can save you thousands of dollars in taxes, currently the
website is free, and I am interested in getting some
feedback. You can e-mail me at Scott.Thompson@trexglobal.com
or you can blog me at http://taxes101.blogspot.com. This is
part of an ongoing effort to help smaller investors like
myself.

Many people do not take advantage of asset separation because
the cost is often too high, and it can take a lot of time.
http://www.DepreciateEm.com is an application that guides
you through an asset separation for accelerated
depreciation. In three easy steps, the application generates
an asset report that allows you to see the tax benefits of
segmenting depreciation, and you can even print IRS Form
4562. DepreciateEm is free and you can complete it by
yourself in a matter of minutes.

I posted this, in spite of it's self-promotion character,
because it seemed in ernest, was well-written, and I feel
like I have been too harsh on some recent submissions that
were advertisements.
