I wanted to give a heads-up to anyone (pro or VITA/TCE) who is
using TaxWise and does Massachusetts returns.
At the moment, TW has a big error handling tax-exempt interest
on MA returns. Specifically, for federally tax-exempt interest
items entered on the "Interest Received" worksheet, the
"State Adjustment Amount" is completely ignored in the calculation
of MA Sched B Line 6.
I have just filed a bug report to TW customer support. If/when
I hear anything back, I'll pass it along.
