I had some employee stock purchase plan and nonqualified
stock option transactions last year that were reported on my
W-2. Box 12, however, doesn't have anything to report this
although it is included in line 1 for sure. I was expecting
to see something in box 12 with a code of V to indicate the
discount I received on the purchase of these shares. Is this
common for employers not to include this information in box
12?
