I lived in CT all year, but for the first 4 months I
received unemployment from California (the remaining 8
months I worked in CT). I know I have to file for CT, but
do I have to file for CA, too?

Thanks.

Robert

If you had no California source income other than the
unemployment compensation, you do not need to file a
California return. California does not tax unemployment
compensation.
