My previous post didn't make it here, perhaps because I was using my iPhone
and "newstap" to try to post, and the automatic detector didn't recognize
me. So here it is again. Feel free to snip this preamble!

There is apparently a Dutch law that says if you lived in the Netherlands
as a Dutch citizen you are entitled to a pension that is essentially
similar to the US Social Security. The only requirement for getting it is
applying, being 65 years of age, and having lived in the Netherlands as a
Dutch citizen. It seems proportional to the amount of time having lived so
after the age of 15.

This means that spouse and I will now receive this "AOW" pension, both of
us having attained the age of 65, and having lived in the Netherlands
beyond the age of 15 as Dutch citizens. I am assuming that, certainly if
there is no taxation by the Dutch authorities, this is "income" to be
reported to the US IRS. Where exactly do I report this "income", and when
should I pay (estimated?) taxes on it?
