I had worked as a sub contractor for the company -- XYZ, Llc. for 2
months in 2008. The contract was between my company and XYZ and XYZ
paid the work to my company.
I have not received the 2008 tax form from XYZ. I have attempted to
contract XYZ without any success. All the phone numbers of XYZ have
been disconnected and the web site of the company has been suspended.

How can we file the 2008 tax return of my company without the tax info
from XYZ?

TIA

Well, you are supposed to be keeping track of your own revenues and
expenses.

If your company is a corporation there is no obligation for the other
party to provide a 1099.

As Bill says -- from your own records, of course.

I own "my company" -- an S corporation. I may be able to retreat the
records of the payments made by XYZ from the bank records. I had used
a CPA to do my company tax. For some seasons I have stoped using the
CPA. I am looking for a good CPA to handle my company taxes.
before I have a CPA I have the question, like to file personnel 1040,
we have to attach the W-2 to it. As we file the tax of an S
corporation, I kind of believing we still the similar to W-2 from XYZ
to be attached to the return filing, correct? Could IRS accept the
return without the attachement?

TIA

You can expect to receive nothing from XYZ regarding how much they
paid your corporation. There is nothing to attach to your S-corp's
Form 1120-S.
